Me and my journey on the south beach diet.
I am going on vacation in 11 weeks and quite frankly I don’t even want to consider picturing myself in a swimsuit right now. I know that I am not going to lose all the weight that I need to in 11 weeks, but in 11 weeks, my goal is to lose 25 pounds!
By starting this blog, I am accountable not only to myself, but whomever reads this blog. I am hoping that I will get some people that would like to join me on my journey or atleast give me some kudos every now and then to keep me going!
So for each day, I am going to log what I ate, what happened that day, and my emotions. At the beginning of each week I will post my weight, measurements and gain/loss(hopefully!)
Why am I so fat anyway?
Sugar, portion size and genes! I have been on the skinny/fat/chubby/average/perfect roller coaster my whole life. Some of it is genes, both parents and families were overweight. I eat alot of sugar in the form of carbs, SWEETS and just plain sugar (in the coffee). AND, I just eat too much. I just had my second and last child a year ago, and I still keep eating as if I am pregnant – DUH!
